Praga - Lugares interessantes não turísticos / Interesting places to visit

Existem locais não turísticos que são interessantes. Aqui irei mostrar alguns desses locais e descrever o motivo de serem interessantes.

There are non tourist sites that are interesting. Here I will show some of these places and describe the reason they are interesting.

The Vrtba Garden

Ao longo da história, os jardins refletiram a perspectiva social, religiosa e política dos tempos. É um jardim do período barroco e da renascença, com sua preciosa horticultura espalhada ao redor da cidade que data dos tempos medievais aos modernos, de jardins em redomas a pitorescas maravilhas espalhadas. 

Throughout history, the gardens have reflected the social, religious and political perspective of the times. It is a garden of the baroque and Renaissance period, with its precious horticulture scattered around the city that dates from medieval times to modern, from gardens in redomas to picturesque wonders scattered.

Petrin Hill

Petrin Hill (327 m) é uma colina no centro de Praga, na República Checa. Ele sobe cerca de 130 m acima da margem esquerda do rio Vltava. A colina, quase inteiramente coberta com parques, é uma área de recreação favorita para os habitantes de Praga.
É lugar muito rochoso, o monte é supostamente chamado Petřín por causa do grande número de rochas (latim: petra). Desde os tempos antigos havia pedras escavadas, das quais Praga construiu um monte de edifícios. Parede medieval da defesa, a parede da fome foi construída no monte de Petřín durante 1360 - 1362, pela ordem do rei checo Charles IV. A Torre de Observação Petřín, que se assemelha fortemente à Torre Eiffel, foi construída em cima de uma colina em 1891.

Petrin Hill (327 m) is a hill in the center of Prague, Czech Republic. It rises about 130 m above the left bank of the Vltava river. The hill, almost entirely covered with parks, is a favorite recreation area for the inhabitants of Prague.

It is very rocky place, the hill is supposedly called Petřín because of the large number of rocks (Latin: petra). Since ancient times there were excavated stones, of which Prague built a lot of buildings. Medieval wall of defense, the Wall of Hunger was built on Petřín Hill during 1360 - 1362, by order of the Czech King Charles IV. The Observation Tower Petřín, which strongly resembles the Eiffel Tower, was built on top of a hill in 1891.

Letná Park

Letná é uma colina com vista para o centro histórico de Praga e o rio Vltava  apenas além do Castelo de Praga. 
A parte principal do Letná é Letná Plain , uma grande planície vazia e Letná Park popular para passeios de verão e desportos informais (patinagem em linha e correr são os mais populares aqui).
Devido à sua posição que costumava ser o local para a maior estátua de Stalin na Europa. A estátua foi rasgada para baixo em 1960.

Letná is a hill overlooking the historic center of Prague and the Vltava river just beyond the Prague Castle.
The main part of Letná is Letná Plain, a large empty plain and Letná Park popular for summer walks and casual sports (inline skating and running are the most popular here).
Due to its position it used to be the location for the largest statue of Stalin in Europe. The statue was torn down in 1960.
