O Algarve é conhecido por ser uma região turística com diversos locais, monumentos entre outros para o lazer.

O primeiro a fazer é encontrar um lugar para ficar. O lugar que escolhi é Faro porque tem diversos meios de transporte e esta bem localizado com muito entretenimento, praias entre outros.

The Algarve is renowned for being a tourist area with many sites, monuments and other for leisure. On this page I will present an example visit the Algarve for 4 days.
The first to do is find a place to stay. The place chosen is Faro because it has various means of transport and is well located with plenty of entertainment, beaches among others.

Depois de uma estadia pré-definida, ainda no primeiro dia vamos procurar um lugar para a alimentação e conhecer outros lugares que podem encontrar tais como supermercados e zonas comerciais.
Se procura um sitio tradicional português, faro tem diversas opções. Um delas encontra-se localizado perto da baixa de faro na rua Lethes.

Vamos começar por conhecer a cidade onde estamos. Um dos locais mais conhecidos de Faro é o Castelo.

Acredita-se que as muralhas de Faro sejam anteriores à invasão romana da península Ibérica, reconstruídas séculos mais tarde, à época da invasão muçulmana da Península Ibérica.
O castelo terá sido construído a partir de 1249, no contexto da chamada Reconquista da Península Ibérica, sobre a alcáçova muçulmana, constituindo-se no último reduto do sistema de defesa da Cidade Velha de Faro.
Além deste castelo magnifico, temos mais dois sítios para visitar. Um delas é a Marina, logo a seguir ao Castelo. Lá encontra-se um enorme diversidade de restaurantes, muitos barcos e praia.

It is believed that the walls of Faro predated the Roman invasion of the Iberian peninsula, rebuilt centuries later, at the time of the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula.
The castle was built in 1249, in the context of the so-called Reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula, on the Muslim fortress, becoming the last stronghold of the defense system of the Old City of Faro.
In addition to this magnificent castle , we have two more places to visit. One of them is the Marina, just after the castle . There is a huge variety of restaurants, many boats and beach .

Ao redor da Marina, é possível relaxar enquanto se desfruta de uma refeição, ou na companhia de uma bebida refrescante, num bar/restaurante qualquer ao redor da Marina.
O outro sitio para se visitar é a Baixa. Pode-se encontrar uma variedade de lojas, bares, restaurantes e até mesmo lojas tradicionais.
Around the Marine, it is possible to relax while enjoying a meal, or in the company of a refreshing drink, in a bar / restaurant any around the Marine.
Another place to visit is the Low . You can find a variety of all types of shops and bars, restaurants and even traditional stores.

Neste dia iremos visitar a tão famosa Ilha de Faro. Se está em um época alta, ou seja no verão, esta a praia de Faro. Nessa Ilha está também o restaurante "Wax" onde estão deliciosos pratos tradicionais portugueses.
On this day we will visit the so famous Faro Island. If you are in a high epoch , that is in the summer, this beach Faro. This Island is also the restaurant " Wax " where are delicious traditional Portuguese dishes .
During the back to the youth hostel can still go to Forum Algarve where are places for enjoyment of children , shopping and restaurants.

No 4º e ultimo dia podemos sair de Faro e ir até à Fonte da Benémola. A Fonte da Benémola é um parque natural, com muitas árvores e um rio grande. Tem também uma gruta com estalactites. Este parque natural é muito bom para um piquenique.
Situada no barrocal algarvio, entre Querença e Tôr, a Fonte da Benémola é uma área protegida de conservação da natureza que alberga ecossistemas de grande interesse, tanto do ponto de vista geológico e paisagístico, como em termos da fauna e flora ali existente. Um espaço com 390 hectares de rara beleza, rico em espécies arbóreas e arbustivas pouco frequentes no Algarve e com uma exclusividade de animais, que impõem a necessária protecção à vida selvagem da região.
In the 4th and last day we leave Faro and go to the Fonte da Benémola . The Fonte da Benémola is a natural park with many trees and a large river . It has also a cave with stalactites . This natural park is very good for a picnic.
